Would Hifiman HE-500 be an upgrade over my Senn HD-650's?

I was wondering if the Hifiman HE-500 would be an upgrade over my Senn HD-650's? I mostly Iisten to mostly Rock music.

I think most people may be wondering what you are plugging your headphones into / your source.

 

For the headphones themselves.. that question is relevant to my interests undefined

I am using an iPod classic (non compressed music), Cyper Labs Algorythm Solo, ALO RX Mk3 amp.

The HE-500 was a clear step up from the HD650 for every genre in my opinion.

I owned 650's for many years and didn't find anything I liked better until the HE-500. The only place where the 650 wins is comfort.

I can give you a good deal on 650's almost brand new with Cardas cable. :)

be aware that the HE500 is about twice as heavy as the HD650
