Fiio e7 strong enough to power hifiman he-400?

I'm planning to buy a hifiman he-400 but I need to see if I need another amp/dac or if the fiio e7 is fine...

The Hifiman HE-400 is only 35-Ohms and I'm sure the E07 is decently able to drive 250-Ohm headphones.

It's not (for 250ohm headphones). You have to max it out just to get it to moderate levels. You can literally hear the E7 struggling to force dynamics.

I'm sure it will do okay with the HE400, but the HE400 deserves at least the E11/E17.

Im driving them with an E17 and would not want any less power, if anything it needs more power to bring out the HE-400's best.

Drove my HE400s with E7s for a few months before I upgraded to E17, have to say, it drives it loud, but only barely, and at moderately loud volumes the E7 induces a bit of background static noise to the HE400 because it's being pushed so hard. Shell out another $40 and get the E17 if you are planning to get the HE400s.
