I can confirm what loxxrider says about the 3.Ai's. Heir really did well with the V shaped sound signature these 3.Ai's offer. The treble is emphasized but not to the extent at being overly bright or harsh. They add just the right amount of detail and texture in the highs and really for most users (unless extremely sensitive to treble) will be quite impressed with the overall presentation.

+1

Can anyone compare Heir Audio 3.Ai to the Yamaha EPH-100?rolleyes.gif I'm looking for an upgrade.

I am now also considering the Heir 3.Ai as an upgrade from my Shure SE215s, but have only found them available from the Heir shop and they want $55 to send them to Oz. Anyone seem them available elsewhere?

Don't think they retail any other place then ebay and their website. Both are a bit steep on shipping, but well worth it IMO. If you don't mind used, they show up on the FS forums from time to time. Good Luck!

Only found them on one ebay site that had 0 feedback. I've got a week or so to decide, so i'll keep looking.

The seller located in Chengdu, China? Pretty sure that is heir audio themselves.

I have 3.Ai too and there is no other option but to buy from them directly for the time being. Never regret it till now.

Would like to try the FitEar 334 but the price is omfg....

hi guys,

the 3Ai's sound really interesting, so i wanted to ask if anyone could tell me how they perform with (post-)hardcore, metalcore, southern metal stuff, like Sick of it all, Bring me the horizon or Every time i die. I also am curious how they perform together with a amp thats has a slightly darker feal to it like the Headstage Arrow or maybe the RSA Shadow

Is the 3Ai sibilant at all?  I really don't mind heavy amounts of sparkle but I tolerate NO sibilance...  If anyone who has listened to them before would help me out that would be AWESOME...

How do the highs compare to the ER4S?

I'm thinking of getting these so i can have a more bassy iem as an alternative to my er4s, but i'm concerned they might sound muffled and lacking in detail compared to the er4...

They are muffled and lack detail. I would look in the W4 or GR07 if you don't want to spend that much more.

Ok, i guess quite a lot of iems are lacking detail compared to the ER4 thinking about it!

I think i would have to get used to another sound signature.

What are these like for trance and edm?-I really like the way the bass has been described..Are there better alternatives for edm?

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I recently got the Westone 3 and all the EDM music I listen to is vocal centric which the Westone 3 doesn't compliment very well but is otherwise great for beats and "pure" EDM.
