But the problem is that the nokia WH205 works with nokia phones only.

Dude, es18 is better than wh 205 if u like spark.

Considering bass, es18 is flat, so its bass is lesser than wh 205 at that relative volume,  but es18 by eqlizing produces good bass....very good bass.

Wh 205 is better as it is free of spark and hsrshness at any sound.

no man , as per my 10 min listen to the wh-205 , it was lacking most of the definition and clarity , a bit hollowed and boomy with out any spark at all .

its really good, though not best.

u see bro, nokia sells wh-701 at 1200/- (music remote utility). and wh-208 at 650/- .(for modern nokia phones)

as wh-205 are compatible with only some nokia phones as it is old.

I don't know about made in china wh205, but mine was made in vietnam, which is going on since 1.5 years with heavy usage also.

both wh-701 and wh-208 produces same quality as wh-205.

Its earbuds are also better than es18 as my opinion.

If you see inside through the speaker grill of wh205 ,you will see a diaphragm similar to the subwoofer's diaphragm of a speaker. That single thing is able to produce the whole frequency range upto 13 14 khz without any lag but from here it starts to struggle because a single daphrm cannot produce multiple frequencies at the same time. While if you see inside the SM's the driver diaphragm seems to be made of metal so there must be different parts which produces different frequencies ie separate for bass , mid and highs. Considering the price of wh205 what SQ we get is not found in any earphone. The weight is very light and comfort and isolation is a lot of times better than the soundmagic's.it is very comfortable and it does not hurts the ears as the size is very small and they are round shaped on the outward side ,One can also lissen the music while resting on the sidewise posture, it does not hurts the ear unlike the soundmagic e10

pl11 doesnt have that clarity to be precise , pl21 is a bit clearer but not much , for you , your tree leads to e30 or pl50 . and there are no other phones i would like to recommend may be cuz i hate those cheap brands like scandy and likes or i dont want to try things like she7000 . one can be tdk mt-300 which i think has some spark and eb900 which has the biggest bass , sub and mid bass i have ever heard . and i still dont think wh205 is the best , cuz some phones are made for a specific driver , and they might not respond well to others . i think cx180 can be a choice for you .

Flipkart's top comments of cx-180 are very negative,

any sony's recommendation?
