They're about a year old and in good condition. The sound is perfect and I will include the original carrying case and the original box.
I suggest you wash the pads when you get them for hygienic reasons. Even as well as I've kept them, they were on my head. 
Luckily, they come right off and you can just wash them! I'd do it myself, but I have palsy. If I remove them, I can't get them back on. 
The apparent discolorations on the pads are just the direction of the fibers. The fibers on the pads are really oddly laid out.
