Help Head-fi! I know you say beats are crap but just answer my questions. Will the sound quality of beats studio get worse if i use recharchable batteries??? Where the beats studio updated from the 2009 version?

I would love to start with a joke about beats not being able to get any worse (oh wait I just did) - but no, rechargeable batteries won't affect the sound quality.

batteries only affect the noise canceling system, and from my extensive knowlage based on thousands of years of research the brightest scientists like Dr Freeman and Dr Dre, they tell me that rechargeable batteries do not affect sound quality, however placebo does :D

and oh they revised the beats lineup? hmm well i wasn't aware of that o.o

Monster and Beats split up, so Monster no longer makes the headphones.

Rechargeables will be fine in ANC headphones, but based on Bose's specs for the QC headphones that use AA/AAA batteries, they will probably give you somewhat less runtime than conventional batteries. I would assume the same to be true with the Beats and other ANC units.

Actually rechargeable 'Eneloop' AA batteries are just about the best batteries on the planet. Conventional Duracells come pretty close, but all Energizers are just left in the dust.
