HI Everyone

I put for For Sale my Modded Ultrasone HFI-780 with Velour pads in excellent condition (see profile for details).

It come in his original box, travel bag and Ultrasone CD.

The price that I ask is $345................$270 is with including shipping to USA and Latin America

All the sales are final. The item is well packaged, to avoid damages.

HIS SOUND

They have a natural, crisp, clear/clean and a transparent sound, that is almost neutral, something smooth and sharp, that is very airy for an semi sealed headphone.

It has excellent detail and separation of instruments, but without being Clinical.

The soundstage in this headphone is ample for it being a semi closed headphone. It is very spacious/big, airier and 3D Like. They are simply another class of headphone. Even in semi closed form, it is deeper than my ex DT990 '05.

They also sound his best on lower to medium volume levels

The headstage is bigger too and in all the axis, posibly less than my ex stock Beyerdynamic DT990 '05; except in depht.

The image and instrument/voices separation are excelent too. I can distinguish various instruments and voices in a recording with ease.

BASS:
The bass is very refined, tuneful and natural. This also is tight and very fast, that extend very deep, and have very good Slam, but less in the midbass. It will never be bloated. It have just the right amount of quantity, which will not pollute the midrange.
This has a very 3D dimensionality in it, that is astonishing.

MIDS:
The mids in this headphone are simply beautiful and natural too.
They have a somewhat Forward midrange (with an slight enfasis in the 2k-2.5k zone) that is engaging with the music, but that doesn't sound harsh, nasal or very strident with the voices, even in higher volumes.

TREBLE:
The treble in this headphone is airier, open, clear, sharp and precise.
It have a lot of sparkle and energy, but without being sibilant [if it have any (can be the source, or the recording].

This is a very good bang for the buck at this price. I put a lot of effort and love to mod this headphones.

My Ratings are (like headphonereviews.org but with some extras):
- Bass Extension: 9
- Bass Impact: 8.5
- Bass Quality: 9.5
- Mids Quality: 9
- Highs Extension: 8
- Highs Quality: 7
- Soundstage: 8.5
- Detail: 8,5

- Isolation: 8
- Comfort: 9,5, light and very comfortable, thanks to the velour pads instaled.
- Durability: 10
- Improvement with a better source: 8
