http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882780078  Would that work?  I noticed that someone said something about not having a powered sub, I was figuring I needed a sub anyways... so could this work or would I still need a receiver?

You still need a receiver...

That's just a powered sub. RW-12 isn't a bad unit, that said.

Based on the contents of this thread, is there anything else I might realistically need?  Also are there any video-based guides for how to wire a speaker as it's something I've never done....
