I have not heard the schitt but it can only use balanced headphones whule the soloist is good for all single ended headphones. I enjoy the Burson and think they did an outstanding job and its not mimic a tube amp like the V200 does. It very neutral and IMO a super amp.

Ranked from "brightest" to "darkest":

1) Soloist

2) Mjolnir

3) V200

 

Ranked from "least impact" to "most impact" (i.e. impact = powerful sound signature)

1) Soloist

2) V200

3) Mjolnir

 

I'm sure that I will keep the V200 and Mjolnir. More uncertain about the Soloist. The latter is a good amp but is a bit "pale & boring" compared to the two others.

So, if you had to pick one to drive your LCD-2's, which one would it be?  The Mjolnir?

If I had to select 1 amplifier to all my headphones; I would have chosen the Mjolnir. If I had to choose 1 amplifier to just the the LCD-2, it would have been the V200. Hope that makes sense. It should. :)

 It does make sense, thank you.  My hope is to avoid having a room full of amps when I really only listen to one set of headphones (LCD-2).  This defintely helps.
