Headband Comfort Cushion Pad (universal fit replacement headband)

You can actually find this replacement headband on eBay (erikek Store) and Amazon (AUDIO EQUIP Storefront). I got mine from eBay.

A complete product description is on eBay and Amazon, so I'm not going to repeat it here.

It is made of leatherette and should fit many headphone models. There's a long list of brands and models in the product description...

All I can say is that it fits perfectly on my Denon D2000. You simply wrap it over the Denon headband and snap it... et voila !

It's like a new pair of Denon, but comfortable this time.

At close to 10$ shipped, it's a no brainer.

I definitely recommend this AudioEquip Replacement Headband.

If you get it, let us know on which headphones it fits !

Edit : A week later, I can tell you it's very comfy.

Got this same item for my Thunderpants conversion.  For those of you familiar with it, I skipped the step of gluing the leather belt to the underside of the headband, because I thought it looked kinda cheesy.  I have been genetically blessed with a full head of hair (though it is rapidly graying) so padding and comfort weren't an issue, but I hated the Fostex branding and the cheap look that it added to these otherwise beautiful cans.  This pad stretched far enough to fit around the wide headband, but there was one snap on an end that wouldn't stay secure just because of the way the wire retainer inside the snap was oriented.  I added a drop of gorilla glue to it and that fixed it.  I can't believe how much more comfy these cans are now!  Definitely recommend to anyone here who has done the Thunderpants conversion and maintained the stock headband.  I'll post some pics later on.

9/25/12: The guys at AudioEquip sent me an extra band and I thought I'd try it on my AKG Q701's but at the skinniest part of the headband, the Q is already as wide as the Fostex and it gets much wider towards the middle, so no dice there.  Does fit nicely on V-MODA LP's for anyone who thinks the padding on that product is lacking, and it still fits back in the carry case with the pad installed.  At under $13 it's hard to pass up!
