was listening to Simply Red's Picture Book album last night... had to be the best recording I've heard with the WM-Z/4.Ai so far, the detail of this pairing is simply breathtaking at times... the new Sony WM-F is getting rave reviews in the thread.

I went through the whole stereophonics album and then the whole slipknot album with the Tera Player and 4.Ai last night and though i may actually be listening to a high end system... i was in the car ;)

I just got these babies two days ago, and so far I am just loving it!! Firstly, these are the most beautiful universal iems I have ever seen. Incredible build quality coupled with stellar looks - that is one killer combination. During my campus commutes while wearing them I have caught people glancing at them longer than usual. They were clearly impressed by the looks :-)

Secondly, the sound is simply breathtaking. I recently sold by ety er4s (being a broke college student I often have to sell off my previous iems to fund new ones) and even though both are completely different beasts, I consider the 4ai an upgrade (my personal opinions, take it with a grain of salt please).

Off to some more listening now!

       Can you post pictures?

Did you get the smaller carrying box as well?

Now I have heard a fair few but on technical abities like detail, transparency and how black the background was I could have been convinced! If I had to liken it to a specific headphone and amp... Hd800 has less perceived bass but similar I guess, a stax omega with a stax energiser would perhaps be fairly close also, hmmm tough question but if course it's not near as open and that's the main difference as hd800 is like to speakers on your head!

I thought you meant hi-fi... my error, see how magnanimously humble I am

I think it's time for The Wizard to invest in one of the new Walkmans... uploading is simples, simply drag & drop and you're done.

think I may get me some 8.A's soon... decisions, decisions

I prefer to choose my music, not press & hope if you get my drift... if they added a screen and decent interface I could be interested.

ever heard a WM-Z non-Euro model in 'lossless' format?... it's a major step-up from other Walkmans and sounds sublime (it's made for the 4.Ai, honest), the new WM-F has the added bonus of Flac compatibility, have a nose into the thread, ask Turok a thing or two about DAP's he really knows his stuff.

Oh you can skip through albums or artists not to bad!

The thing is....  if you live on this side of the world, very few people own albums..... so it seems to me the Tera player would be a hodge podge of music.....  kind of like "favorites" in random mode without a display.

Every song is surprise after another.....
