I've got those. I also have the wood/purple 4.Ai. I was merely suggesting, that adding another color option for the Universals might help sales smile.gif

very true, there again some would probably want different colours to highlight the carbon.

YES! im checking every thread to see when they come out, if they do go with it

i would be ok with coloured shell with no faceplate if they sell as something like $30 cheaper

not really

did a quick search on price per pound- amboyna burl is $18 to $22 per pound while carbon fiber is around $10 per pound

plus for the wood, heir has to look around looking for ones that look good, while carbon fiber they buy mass produced carbon fiber off some company

And lets be honest at the end of the day, Heir is the pioneer of wood and they do that so well, i dont think there is anything wrong with the burl!

To me the 3 and 4ai are the most beautiful UIEM's money can buy. The wood is just so right on every level.

I 'll have to confess I am slightly disappointed by the wood on my 4A.i. frown.gif  It looks quite plain and uniform, I even wondered if it was real wood. The iem still look better than most but my wood is not as good looking as others people's wood wink.gif
