finally got my 4.ai. i think ups has kept my earphone for one working day to make sure they can deliver the package on ETA. so i didnot got them on friday and enjoy them on weekend.

earphones are delicate, but a little bit smaller than i thought.

i still do not have time to hear them carefully, so just the first impression, the sound is similar to um3x but do not really have it sound signature. so, i would say the sound of 4.ai is thick, a little bit forward on midrange. and that is all i can say right now.

and, i found there is guy in my working place has a custom IEM, that is the first time i saw a custom IEM.

Mine arrived today :) So far pretty impressed. love the wood finish. Here is a picture with my ie80's.

perhaps you could write a short simple of a comparison between the two?

Indeed. They're the most beautiful earphones I've ever seen.

The 4.Ai can get a little expensive, when you need to buy a new pair every two weeks. Where at work did you lose them? Shouldn't you be able to find them again?

The likely fell into another's pocket.

I'm OCD when it comes to checking to make sure I have all of my gear before I leave a room (and then I touch all four corners and dare not step on any gaps between floor tiles )
 

My 2 cents on 4.Ai and 3.Ai.

4.Ai shares many similarities with CK10/100/100Pro. Not as cold and metallic. 

3.Ai is BA equivalent of EX600.

Will post more in depth later. Maybe next week? Not too sure how I should word it.

I would be screaming my lungs out, calling the police, informing the HR department, pulling all stops to get them back. Make sure to post notices instruction people where they can return the 4.Ai's to anonymously. Make sure you point out that they are (still) pretty rare, very recognizable and have a unique serial number. 

Anyone using different tips than the ones provided?
