It's way too soon to go into detail, but I can unequivocally claim the 4.Ai my favorite IEM to date already.  They fit my preferred sound signature perfectly.  I've gone through my usual test playlist without skipping one track and I cannot find a hole in the sound signature or glaring fault anywhere.  They are beautiful to behold and a joy to listen through. Yes, I said through, not to. More to follow...  They were worth the wait.

Anders Meinhart, the drummer from Danish electro band F.U.K.T. doing a masterclass session. I love the sound of drums from the 4.Ai, but the 3.Ai goes deeper. (8.A is the best of both wink.gif)

 

Oh and if you like the above, check out the albums from F.U.K.T. The do EDM/House with elements of dubstep for good measure - but always with real drums. Man, this video should be the last level on the next version of the Rock Band video game...

It's been over a month since I ordered mine, I was hoping they'd be here this week but that didn't happen, hopefully next.

I was not aware they are doing custom faceplates?

 

Also, some impressions may be surfacing later as i lent these to a fair few people today the the UK head fi meet (which was SSSOOOOO awesome) and everyone really seemed to like them.

i think so

they said they want to release the wood first then who knows what

probably not custom faceplates as that would take much more time im guessing
