You can listen to every little detail of the song, and instrument separation is very good too.

Compare to the 3Ai,

the 3Ai have a more up front presentation, and more bass quantity and bass extension.

Happy for you that you have just got on board! They really are WOW aren't they! Maybe you understand why i love them so much now ;)

1000 hours?! That is just crazy, thats like 41 days ahahah. Wow, keep at that! And the new walkman looks nice! It has a line out as well, right? Which will make better use of the RSA!

ANyway, keep on enjoying them and if you can in the near future add some full impressions (if you would like of course) then that would be really cool!

Never tried it but i think the Hippo Cricri really turns them into something else. Makes it perfect for me anyway. If you could pick up a cheap iPod Nano 3rd Gen as well then you would have the same set up as i use ;) But yeh the cricri sounds great with them and is also really cheap with a great form factor!

Awesome, i look forward to it and 1000 hours just sounds sill but i hope its worth it. (after you have done it, PM on whether or not you thinks its worth it ;)

Oh man, I already own the E11. But I actually have the Nano 6th gen, so I guess we're pretty close in that respect. :D ....any chance they could even run ampless? I really don't like carrying amps around, hehe.

Got mine today.  Look very nice, liked the case for putting in a backpack.  Unfortunately none of the provided tips provided fit/sealed, so what other tip options are there?

Yes we are similar but the 3rd gen and 6th gen likely have very different internals and the 3rd gen actually sounds great. The cricri is not much more to carry around and it will just velcro on the back of your nano, its real tiny, check out my 4.Ai review or any other of mine for a picture of the rig. However these to still sound good without and amp and one is far from needed. However with or without and amp i will say make sure that your using high quality bit rate codecs like FLAC or Apple lossless as these are not nice to the likes of 128 kbps recordings and really show up some flaws. I am also sure using it with the E11 will make an improvement if your happy taking it around!

Man, too bad some of my prehistoric digital recordings don't exist in anything higher than 128kbps. :(

congrats on getting them and it is a real shame to hear about the lack of a seal. If you check my review there is a list of all the tips that successfully fit on them!
