Heir Audio 4.Ai - Appreciation/Impression/Review Thread - Page 16

Below is a cut and paste on my initial thoughts of the 4.AI from the Heir Audio Appreciation Thread.  As there have been some questions on isolation I will add that they isolate very well and better than most IEM's I have had.  They actually come pretty close to my original comfort version 4.A.

The build quality of the 4ai is nothing short of spectacular.   They simply scream to other iem's look at me I am breathtakingly sexy.  None of the other IEM's that I have had the pleasure to own even come close and I would be surprised if anything in the future from a company other than Heir would even come close.  They are built and adhere to the same strict standards that Heir builds their ciem's to.

As I have previously stated the 4a's are simply the best sq that I have heard to date (that statement was made proor to receiving my 8a's, more on those in a future post) and since the AI version utilizes the same components it should be no surprise that the 4.AI sounds identical to its fraternal twin brother the 4.A.  Out of the two my preference would goto to the 4.A's younger sibling as now I am able to share the masterpiece that is the 4a with friends and family.

These iems are by far the most comfortable that I have ever worn and they truly disappear into your ears and in no time you will forget that you are even wearing them.  This is by no means a small feat as the Wizard can attest to my small ears and canals.

It is incomprehensible to me that a company can put out such an outstanding IEM that is not only hand built with a stellar build quality but also possesses a sound quality that is equally astonishing for such a low price.   And to boot they include a removable cable that is interchangeable with most standard socket ciem's.

It is easy to recommend the AI line to anyone solely based upon the product as described above. When you through in the unparalleled commitment to the customer it becomes a no brainer; Heir Audio and their products stand alone at the pinnacle of the industry.

I thnk someone said they would do it when they got theirs.  If not, wait a good month, month and a half.  If I end up getting a pair, I'd love to do a comparison.  The key word here is if.

I've put in an order for 4.Ai's, when they arrive I'll do a comparison if people are still looking for one.

Just placed my order yesterday. September third can't come quick enough for me. :-) also, the customer service I got from heir audio was nothing short of stunning, they made it easy to drop over four hundred dollars, and I always had the feeling that they don't take you for granted and that they actually want your business, which Imo is something that allot of other companies could learn from.

I'm going to a local meet tonight and will be getting my 4.Ai back from Audiocrack, really looking forward to it. Only problem is that he has the Alo Rx Mk IIIb and NC8000 will be there with his balanced TWag cables... It could get expensive.

But it didn't as you weren't blown away by the balanced drive. The 4.Ai however is a very impressive iem, probably the best universal I have ever tried and the claim to be everything the ER4-S should have been seems justyfied

hi guys, according to what I read in these reviews, I think that 4A.i can be an evolutionary of er4s.

the ones that hear both! can you approve this?

I havent heard the er4 however I have heard the hf3 & 5 and IMHO the 4a & ai is what the ety should have been.  All you needed was to read mc8000's post which is directly before yours.

thanks, but if you mean mnc8000's post, do you really think that I haven't seen that?

I need just some more sentences that describe difference between 4ai and er4s.

I have the HF5s and i would say that these are quite similar in signature but so much better, huge leap forward!

Can see that there are loads of orders been out in and can not wait for all the impressions. I may have to scrap the owners list because of so many.... Was only a gimmick really anyway.

Oh and yes full circle, a week without the web was hard ahahah :P
