Uhm, well.... Quantity: None Quality: Well...Uhm...Its controlled and would probably be good, had it not been that far below neutral. The entire spectrum except for bass is neutral on these, and the clarity is mindblowing. But i have to admit, I may not be a basshead, and i can live with bass not being excessive - heck, my favorite can is HD800. But when the bass is so far drawn back/low volume that you barely even hear it, I gotta admit: something is terribly wrong, and it saddens me! Because as I said, the clarity of this is insane and you dont notice the missing low-end too much in a lot of acoustic music, but as soon as you put on something like electronica or ambient music, you just completely lose the atmosphere of the music...

Hi,

I am guessing that you are another own of the 4.Ai? May i ask are you getting seal because these clearly have quantity. These have a clear mid-bass presence which is not hard to find, i mean, i do not recommend them for EDM or Dubstep just because it does not have the power for bass drops but it is not below neutral. I am sitting here quite content with the bass i am getting because it is of the best quality and just a perfect quantity making these have such a full sound.

May i ask how you are inserting these?

I'm wondering if heir 4ai can beat the um miracle in all aspects (highs, mids, bass and soundstage), since i'm planning to purchase sooner or later

I'm choosing between heir 4ai and um miracle.

Since heir is universal iem and much cheaper I'm really considering it.

Right now I have fx500 and tf10

What I like from both IEMS are

FX500
Like
      Deep Bass
      Highs Extension and Airy
      Sound Stage
      Instrument Separation
      Very Good Timbre

TF10 with White Angel Cables from Sunricky

      Tight and Textured Bass
      Good Mids
      Micro Details
      Clarity

I want the best of both iems = Heir 4ai or Miracle?

please add tf10, fx500 and Miracle comparisons if possible

Thank you,

I too am perplexed by this statement as there are only 4 sets of Ai's released

How "natural" sounding are the 4Ai? Are they analytical?

so does the 4Ai need ampping?

Thank you,

I have only heard the TF10 and FX500 while on loan so they are not with me now. I will do you comparison but do not have time as about to go on holiday. I will say that the 4.Ai exceeds the FX500 and TF10 in every category expect mid-bass content and sub-bass, the rest is a whitewash to the 4.Ai.

Check this quickly:

700

They are very natural sounding but have perhaps to much bass to be analytical. These are just perfectly neutral.

Not by any means at all. I have used these straight out of my Cowon j3 for a great sound and the iPhone 4 for a good sound but preferred from other amps and sources. It is easily driven so nothing is needed though.

You do not have to use an amp, but like most speakers they do benifit from amping. If you have further questions about the 4.Ai, you may want to read over the 4.A review done by Project 86, as both the 4.A and the 4.Ai have the same DNA one would expect similar results.

Thanks

Yes, I am getting a good seal - or well, when no music is playing, they seal so well that i almost can't hear a thing thats going on around me. I insert them the same way I would a custom iem - more or less. And no, the bass quantity is just not there: I've compared them to HD800, IE80, Triple-Fi10 and more, and consistently in all tracks, with the 4.Ai the bass is so far back in the musical spectrum that its barely noticable compared to what it should be. Its still there, but not where its supposed to. To take an example, in the track by Solar Fields called Almost There, there is a droning sub-bass that on all other headphones and speakers I've heard is almost numbing to listen to, which becomes very relaxing. On the 4.Ai that same bass is barely even there. To leave the electronic music, take the track Rain from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. I first listened to it on the 4.Ai and thought it was extremely beautiful, which it still is, but then when i listened to it on the IE80 for example, i realized there was an entire part of the track, the already not very loud bottom end of the track, which hadn't been audible on the 4.Ai... The story continues the same way with other tracks....

Well that doesn't sound very good... 3.Ai is probably more my style then. :)

Audiocrack,

Why do Fullcircle deny that to have a pair, there is 4 pairs worldwide and they are owned by me, sorensiim, and I have forget he other two for the moment but one posted on the last page (hard to navigate on my phone to find them both) and in is on the Heir thread. That means how can you have one. I don't like disbelieve people but I am going to take the guy who makes thems word on how many they are. Oh and there is a clear bass presence even next to TF10 and IE8, not as much but still noticeable.

Oh, I actually didn't know there were that few of them... But anyway, Sørensiim let me try out his pair for a few days up to a local meet we're having, related to them, so that would explain that :) And I can only dissagree with that last statement - well maybe except if I connect them to my fiio E11 and turn up the bass boost. Yes, you can notice the bass if you actively listen for it, but switching between these and the IE80 is night and day with a lot of tracks. It frustrates me quite a bit because they are the best IEM's (including customs) that I've yet heard with most genres of music simply due to their clarity, but the missing low end is a big kick in the teeth to me...
