Still need help finding other tips for the 4.Ais. Any suggestions? I just read about the Auvio tips about, but not sure what that is...

I don't think I'll do a full review. There have to be like three dozen threads already.
I'll just a quick write up of my impressions. By my estimations, USPS should be putting them in my mailbox by 2pm on Tuesday.
Using sony tips from mh 1, fir nicely for me.. xD, some members also recommend meleec bi flange tips
When I auditioned the 4.Ai's, I happened to have a set of Shure foam tips for the Shure 2E's. They fit the 4.Ai's and gave me a better seal than any of the tips that came with the 4.Ai's. I don't own 4.Ai's, so I can't say how that affect the sound other than during my brief audition they seemed to give me the best sound from the better seal.
Here's where I bought mine:
I'll have the 4ai within the next 4 hours. USPS has really been on their game lately.
Feed them vocals and strings. We'll be waiting.

Yes vocals, it wont sound like them H-100s, thats for sure ;)
How much longer? 1 hour?
so this has probably been asked a few times before, but since this thread is long it'd be too difficult to find the answer.
how is the bass on these compared to the 3ai?
i want nice bass but dont want the rest to suffer by giving up the 4ai just for the bass in the 3ai.
4.Ai has a slight bass boost, making it perceived as fairly neutral and the bass of the 4.Ai is of the upmost quality, really. Tight fast warm and extension is not even that bad, with good texture, just not really any rumble.
have to agree. the bass is sooo clean its awesome. I definitely like the 3.Ai just to feel satisfied with a good quantity of bass though.
I'm going to antecipate Sorensiim's answer to this: go for the 8.A instead and you'll have the best of both in one!
I thought that I would do this comparison, mainly because I was personally a/bing the two but also because I thought it would help a few of you. One IEM is the cheaper by far, it is the new T-PEOS H-100 that is a hybrid IEM, featuring a dynamic driver and a BA one. The Heir 4.Ai is my current favorite universal IEM. The 4.Ai I think is the technically better of the two but the H-100 does have some upsides to it and does show a technology getting better and better.
Bass between the two is flipped to what you may expect. The 4.Ai actually has more mid bass and is a lot warmer sounding of the two. However the mid-bass is faster and tighter on the 4.Ai. Sub-bass extension is so much better and more present on the H-100 that has a bucket load of rumble and is wonderfully textured.
Mids are a real problem on the H-100 due to a peak in the mid-highs. It makes vocals sound cold and unnatural and also affects the timbre, making the 4.Ai sound generally a lot more natural as well as more detailed and transparent. The mids on the 4.Ai are great and this is wear the H-100 just cannot keep up.
Treble between the two is actually a fairly close competition. They are both amazingly detailed, in fact the H-100 may even be more transparent but it is also more strident and not as well textured. It is brighter on the H-100 and sparklier and with the wrong source, it can become just too much. The 4.Ai has great sparkle but not as much, it is enough to have great detail and it is still as extended. It never becomes too much on the 4.Ai and for that reason I prefer it.
Soundstage is actually wider on the H-100 but it feels like it is empty in the middle that is a shame. 4.Ai is deeper but they both have the aspects of depth that is good. Imaging on the 4.Ai really separates the two, as it is a lot better.
Overall the 4.Ai is better but the H-100 doe shave some nice touches. It is however no good for vocal music in most circumstances because the vocals just sound OFF and this is were the 4.Ai stand out, with vocals. EDM and dubstep on the other hand is almost mastered by the H-100 and the 4.Ai struggle here with the lack of rumble so they do actually sit together as a nice pair of IEMs and can handle most genres awesomely between the two.
Nailed it i think mate. Ahahah
And to think, you'll get all that great sound at only twice the price of the 3.Ai and 4.Ai combined! A bargain!
Seriously though, I really like the 4.Ai as a great allround IEM, sounds soo good with a lot of different music but really shines with vocals and strings. The 3.Ai is just plain, uabashed FUN. Lively treble, punchy, deep bass. Awesome IEMs for rock - think of them as in-ear Grados with extra bass
