I'm giving them serious consideration. The er-6 should nearly match the ER4S without the need for an amp. If I buy the ER4S or B then I also need an amp, which is a bit of an investment. I'm sure I'll get around to it at some point.

I'm more looking forward to the GR08 and ASG2, but in the mean time I picked up an RE0 for $50 during the clearance sale.

I highly doubt the GR08 or AS-2 will be to your tastes, even less so than the 4.Ai. JM2C. If you're absolutely sure you want that flat FR that conforms to DF equalization, get an ER4B or ER4S; or, bite the bullet and get the FitEar F111 for a more comfortable fit.

And the LCD-2, HD650, T1, HE-500 and so on... Meet the DX100.

We have a saying here in Scandinavia: "Smager det, så koster det." It translates roughly to "if it's tasty, then it's pricy."

everything is pricey in scandanavia

i recall the last time i was there, the cheapest things to eat besides the fast food chains, were street meat at $7 and soup at $12 eek.gif

I live in Denmark, current world record holders in tax pressure as well... Affording a DX100 up here takes some commitment.

Just receive this a while ago..very impressive, it has more bass than i thought, more than my westone 2 and tf10 i can say.

Very beautiful and also very small..lol.

Those who like westone signature or TF10, this gonna be big upgrade(well for me)..

Welcome aboard the 4.Ai train! Now go put on some acoustic stuff with nice vocals and see what those babies can do...

More bass than the TF10? After all this talk about 4.Ai being neutral I didn't pay too much attention but now my interest is piqued. Can anyone else make comparisons to the TF10?

I think that peaky treble on tf10 make him to lower the volume and he feels that tf10 has less bass wink_face.gif

or maybe he bought 3ai

Yeh, i really do not think the 4.Ai touch the mid or sub bass quantities of the TF10. This is also not a upgrade of the TF10 signature as this is not V shaped!

The 4.Ai looks really good; am tossing up between the 4.Ai and W4 - what reasons are there to choose one over another (I know I'm posting in a decidedly biased thread but I'm still curious if some of you faced this same decision)?

Also, if anyone in Canada has gotten the 4.Ai what's the amount of the Customs duty/tax/UPS handling fee like? PM if you please :D along with any listening impressions.

Mine was shipped with the USPS to canada post, so I didnt have to pay brokerage fees, just gst on the purchase and a 5$ customs fee.

Looks left for Fizz.

Looks right for Fizz.

Tiptoes to falcon1125, and whispers:

"Can I post these pictures on Heir Audio's Facebook page?"
