One last bump before I figure out how to keep these...

 

I'm looking for a new home in the SF Bay Area for a pair of very lightly used, matt-black Zu Druid Credenza speakers.

 

Druid Credenzas are very efficient, full-range speakers, which some headphone amps can drive. I'll give them a conservative 7/10 for condition, because the matt black shows every fingerprint, but really they look almost new.

 

 

Zu doesn't offer these any more and there's not much left on line about them, but here is the 6moons review from 2007: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/zu11/credenza.html

 

I'm currently driving these (to more than ample volume) with a Bottlehead S.E.X. headphone amp. They sound great. I just need to do some rearranging after moving and these don't fit in our lives any more.

 

I have the original (worn) box/crate but there is simply no way I'm going to ship these -- the first set I ordered set did not survive shipment to me and had to be replaced, so I just won't risk it -- for both our sakes.

These would go good with the Wyred4Sound mini integrated amp although wattage overkill.  How was the bass response in a moderate or small size room?

They are delightful. Certainly no problem filling a normal-size room with full-range music.
