I've run into a problem with my unit. After last going through that stupid CMI loading screen, my unit powered off and will not power back on. I've tried plugging it into my computer via the usb cable and I've tried resetting the unit with a pin without success. Does anyone know what I can do?

Cheers in advance.

I have Studio V - I don't have any issues with it, everything works for me

I haven't heard from Jack Fu for weeks

I don't think it has a hold button

One of the navigation buttons (up) is not making a solid click when I press the button. Instead, it barely recedes and sometimes even gets stuck holding the button down. This means the volume will sporadically shoot up to MAX and requires me to quickly drop the volume and mash on the up button repeatedly to get it "unstuck." Anyone else have an issue like this before? Better yet, has anyone had to open this thing up before?

Btw, I just wanted to post an update in case anyone else might have the same issue in the future. I spoke with Jack and the solution, while a little unorthodox, worked well enough to where I don't have this issue anymore. Here is what he said, "Could you quick and press it strongly to make it more flexible ? Or press the button strongly and hold for about half a minute, to see if it is ok?" Just took a little bit of elbow grease biggrin.gif

It was left on. It needs more charge before it comes back. Just leave it plugged in for a while.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I stuck a pin in the reset hole for a little longer and it solved the problem.

hmm just to share a weird thing that happened to my studio V 3rd anniversary... last night i was listening to it (quiet enviroment) and it sounded softer than usual (battery charge was @ 50%)... usually i listen to it @ volume level 14 but last night i had to increase the volume level to 20... the problem went away when i plugged it in to charge... did anyone experience the same problem?

I have experience the same problem sometimes.
I think the bug in the firmware is the causes of it but im not really sure of it.

I've had that happen numerous times to me. I'm not sure exactly how to replicate it either. Maybe having your IEM plugged into the unit as its powering on may contribute to this as well as what menu option you access first. I tend to access "Now Playing" first and that seems to help avoid it.

Then I was absolutely wrong.beerchug.gif I've had it happen where I thought it was charged but had left it on continuous play and got that result.
