I was not a fan of the CV181-Z ShuGuang , the original Mullards were another matter entirely.

Got sense a search for a couple of super expensive TF (or cheaper Siemens) Cca or E188CC???

In the meanwhile I'm running a couple of NOS Telefunken E88CC and Tungsram E80CC (really cheap and usually highly regarded for their price/performance ratio) with great results;

How many LGs out there guys. I really miss my tubes, and am thinking of a MAJOR upgrade.
Must be made in North America, ptp.

This baby fits the bill. Will be running with Hegel HD12 .LCD2.2

Regards

What did you think of the tubes after they burned in?

Hi. I'm a new Liquid Glass owner.  I just purchased a used one and will receive it on Monday. I'm getting ready for it's arrival so that when it gets here I can just plug and play.  Have a question though:  Does the "Loop-Out" require that the Liquid Glass be turned on or will it work just as well in stand-by mode?  Maybe it's entirely passive and will work even if LG isn't even plugged in?
