Any chance you're going to release a new DIY board?

I am interested in the Liquid Glass. May I ask if it comes with any tubes? I m in Singapore. May I know how long does it takes to reach? I noticed that the input is via RCA, but output is balanced. So what kind of cable shd I use if I want to use my AK240 as source? How did Cavalli managed to use SE input n come out with balanced output?

Hi, I am also interested in the Liquid Glass with AK240 as source. Can you please PM me the answers as well. Thank you very much!

Well, I'll just post the answer here. :)

Liquid Glass is a Single Ended amp. It only has RCA inputs on the back. The 4 pin XLR on the front is a convenience for those owners who have headphones terminated in one of these connectors. When headphones use this jack, the amp is still running single ended.

Let me know if you have more questions.

I've just purchased the Liquid Glass and I found the hum present in the unit I received. I bought my unit from a reseller (Addicted2Audio) here in Australia. What is the procedure for repair?

Thanks

Few questions
during the last two weeks , I tested a cavalli Liquid Gold.
Thanks Ony38.
It works beautifully with the LCD 3.

I compared during this periodt with a taurus auralic
More details,  faster . The music is living.

But  the alpha dog is much more enjoyable with the taurus

I wondered if the glass would be  more versatile (and if it s possible as good with my lcd 3?)

Oh and just to know I lived in France (I must order directly on the website ?)

I can only answer from comments from others. The LG and AD are reputed to be an excellent pairing. I believe this combo has won "best at show" recently at two separate shows. Also, the voicing of the LG can be changed quite a bit by changing out the tubes.

Please PM me for more info.

How does the Liquid Glass compare to the Liquid Fire? I'm looking for a tube amp for my LCD-3F (considering the Woo amp as well).

I want something with a nice warm sound. I'm listening mostly to jazz, vocal, blues, classical.

Liquid Glass can be rolled for different signatures.  LCD-3 already lean warm, so your amp may not need that much warmth added (though a nice NOS tube does the trick, especially with mid-bass bloom.)  The Glass and the Liquid Fire are not really on the same plain in my humble opinion, and I (in addition to several other users I know) prefer its abilities to even the Liquid Gold.

Question about the use of the Liquid Glass as a pre-amp:

When I am using the LG as a pre to a power amp which has its own volume

controls....

Is there a recommended procedure for setting and using the volume controls

on the LG pre and on the power amp?

Should one - which one?; does it matter? - be maxed and the other used for

adjustments?

Or???

Ahhhh, LG as a pre-amp for speakers sounds awesome! Is that possible? Also, the reason I came here to post is a simple question. Has anyone heard the LG with an AKG K812?
