Octals? It's not a blunderbuss, you know. More like Novals. Tiny and precise, none of that thunderous footprint.

I will reluctantly oblige with an answer (since the photos really are crappy, and this isn't out of false modesty, but simply the results of lack of time setting up the shot or even thinking about composition) -

Camera: Canon 5D Mark III

Lens: Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L Mark II

Flash: Canon 600EX-RT, off camera, triggered by ST-E3-RT, in ETTL mode (usually I shoot full manual flash, but I got lazy yesterday).

Gents, just an update.

Things are starting to roll again. Modified LGs are going out, both fixes for first customers and new units. I do love these amps. :)

LL2 will open in a day or two. LAu is coming along. Don't believe there is an LAu? How about this?

TRS jacks will go away in the production amp to be replaced with Neutrik XLR/TRS combos.

Dr. Cavalli gained notoriety with his first DIY amplifier projects. His success has blossomed into Cavalli Audio, a world leader in amplifier design.

Just when I'm about to send my LG back to Alex for the mod, I see this monster.  I think my wallet just ran away.  You mad scientists over at Cavalli Audio keep impressing every time.

Now how about some spec on that thing.

You don't say. The infamous lab coat shortage of 2012 was Cavalli Audio single-handedly cornering that market.

Just a few for now. It is a fully differential (not bridged) SS balanced amplifier. It should make about 7W into 50R. There will be three inputs, 2 XLR and one SE switched from the front like the LL MK II (but no loop out).

It will have a front panel gain switch to select between two gain settings. In the prototype the gain can be hot switched while the amp is playing music without causing problems.

It has the fully balanced version of the CA offset detector to make sure your headphones are protected. It will have 4 outputs: 4 pin XLR, dual 3 pin XLR, and 2 separate TRS. The TRS and 3 pin XLR will be Neutrik combo jacks.

Neogeo333, it can't roll tubes. wink.gif
