New Cavalli Audio Liquid Glass Amplifier - Fall Release - Page 11

That actually sounds pretty cool to me...

It could be the name of a portable amp (!!). Goes outside...to get...oxygen. Or something.

Edit: I'm pretty surprised there's no more interest for this amp than their is. It's something that's never really been done before. Maybe people are afraid of the hole tube rolling would leave in their wallets.

I'm anticipating LF 2 in late Spring. Of course all production plans are subject to unforseen events/factors but this is the plan today.

are there going to be any upgrade plans for previous LF1 owners?

Not likely considering the age of all LF units around release of R2 will be around a year old.

New design in the SE category. Didn't Alex say the LF2 would have a physical design similar to the LG? Don't know how anything could be done to LF1 units....Frankly, from everything I have read around here, I don't know if anything NEEDS to be done for such a top flight amp. I basically see it tossing in the features of the LG. Pre out, new case, 4 pin SE out, etc.

I have had so much fun seeing people react to tube rolling today at RMAF , great response to the tube rolling and I would be called biased if I repeated half of the great things people have said about the amp. Not even mediocre feedback, all overwhelmingly positive. Congrats Alex, I knew this would be a great amp.

Waiting for more impressions from the show to roll in. Did Liquid Gold make it?

I was at the RMAF and I even spoke with Dr. Cavalli

The HE-6 and the Liquid Glass combination is the best I have heard ever and beats some of the Stax setups. The sound is very realistic and natural. The HE-6 with the Liquid Glass amp has far greater detail and definition as compared to the LCD3 with other amps. They are not even in the same sonic class. That was a big surprise and even the HD800 sounds better with this amp but still far outclass by the HE-6 headphones.
