Wow, havent seen you in a while lol

So far there are no newer/better CNT HP. However, IEM is a different story.

Ah yeah that's right.

Not really interested in those overpriced dustbin lids, hence they slipped my mind.

Another good IEMs to try are the Zero Audio ones:

I saw something that had a mic when I was at Fry's the other day. Ha-s500b iirc on the box. Looked nothing like the s500 or s400s I have though.

Yah, HA-SR500. However, they don't have Carbon Nanotube drivers.

Lifted andreas and dnullify, Thanks for the quick reply guys smily_headphones1.gif

Yea I just stopped a while after seeing jvc ha sr 500 somewher online. So searched this thread for it , but got to know that its something like s600 or may be s360 in a new packing. Not sure. But no nanotubes means no use.... frown.gif
Its hard to find s500 in india, even not in online shops. I cud find this ha sr 500 only. But seems to be of no use. frown.gif

I guess I had read dsnuts quoting the exactly similar carbon nanotube model with a mic somewhere in this thread or may be in s400 thread. But I am not being able to find it again.

Why don't you just buy from eBay and import the S500?

Or do you absolutely require to have the Mic?

It's a small brother of HA-RX700/900, no carbon nano tubes there

No..mic is not an issue at all....but both of the models viz sr500 n rx500 are available in few of the indian online retailers, so I guessed I wud get it as early as possible from them.
Importing wud take a month or so...But no matter, its the last option for me. Eagerly wanna have those s500 though smily_headphones1.gifsmily_headphones1.gif

Just go for it mate, start the process ASAP.

You won't be dissappointed, and you'll forget about the whole ordeal when you plug your new shiny S500 in and just listen to them. basshead.gif
