I like the stock pads and don't have any problem with them, some like the ATH-WS55 pads if you can get a pair at a reasonable price, be aware that they are $6.40 a PAIR from AT US Parts so careful what you pay for them.
Others seem to like the HD25 velours, but don't even bother with the HM5 pad foolishness... I also read that the ESW9 leather pads are supposed to fit as well...

Check them out stock first then get some other pads to try if you don't like them. wink.gif

I knew after I posted that would bring the Doom! tongue.gif
I have the HM5's on my 'Sones and they are an uber comfy pad, but they really take the portability away from the S500's... Do you where them out an about with those pillows on them?

Post a pic here Wayne for others to see the HM5 pads mounted.

Its just the Q-Tips, O-Rings, TP and a little stickum thats required to get them to stay on, very similar to me trying to keep the Grado Bowls on the Porta Pro's, I have since been shown a way so I have to apply it soon. biggrin.gif

Which ever pads you choose, if you like them then Enjoy! It's all about the music enjoyment in the end anyway.

I wear them pillows out everywhere. Never take them off. Have them on at the gym, walkin' down the street, while getting a haircut.. just don't touch my pads! And no way you're getting a pic - you can't handle how good they look!
