For sound, absolutely. The HD25 velours are more comfortable but don't sound quite as good.

On a serious note I find that the WS55 pads make things sound more airy while keeping the bass boominess at bay and still providing a sufficient amount of it. Not to mention they are way, way more comfortable that stock pads.

Nah, I'm not trusting anyone about any more pads. First was the ath pleathers, which were awesome according to the hype. Then the HM5 pads came - it's good that I had extra point on mp4nation and paid only for one pad. The stock pads are still the best for me and I have zero issues with comfort, so I won't be buying anymore pads just to get back to the stock ones and get fooled again.tongue.gif
