i have my S500 a while and looking for a new toy;

i love the sound of S500, and now i want something can cover the ear;

Friend is going to Japan soon and getting some Japanese brand with good price, choices limited somehow.

also, in and outdoor use, Brainwavz HM5 seems a bit too big and, hard to push?

Finally had some free time to recable.... 8 conductor hybrid silver and copper. Now they sound like headphones that deserve the hype.

LMAO a re-cable makes them sound THAT much mo' different/better. rolleyes.gif Oh is that my set??? If so i want them back hehehe.

Welp you did say the treble of the S400s are better than the S500s so..... I have doubts on what you mean by "right". LoL

 

The lack of extension in the treble of the S400s was what i noticed they lacked the most. I am ok with their lows esp. the mids but the treble was pretty meh to me.

I found it to be different. The s500 highs to be lacking... Different ears I guess
