no, i listen to stuffed stock pads. i wonder if i can get even more bass out of them, if i remove the dampening behind the driver again!?

LMAO, you stretch one cotton ball out evenly so it can go inside the pads one full round (as the inner layer). Stuff them tight so it does not block the driver. Then do the same thing with a thin piece of rolled paper towel as the outer layer. This gives my S500s the biggest/ best most refine bass to date. 

The stock S500 pad are gonna look real fat after the stuffing but it's OK since you can put the HM5 pads over them for dat ultimate bass and soundstage on these S500s. Hope this helps. That onemili dood tried it and loves it. haha

Too late - getting the E12 :)  I am mainly getting it to draw every ounce of goodness out of the ad900x's, and it sounds like the E12 will be better for that than the C&C. But I think that the C&C will probably make the S500's shine nicely, and will probably work better with IEM's as well, so there's a chance I'll have no choice but to snag one down the road. I'm looking forward to your impressions!

Aww, ok mate well let me know how it pans out for you and I'll be sure to tell you my impressions of the C&C BH when it arrives next week.

I received my S500 along with the JVC FXZ200s and ATH-CKS1000s. I must say the S500 sounds great. Very clear and clean. Also a light weight headphone that is portable. I am more of an IEM guy, but this headphone is coming out with me. I'm very picky about headphones. I also cannot believe this was only 35 dollars! (Well $55 with shipping from Tenso) But even so, this is an amazing set of cans.

Being in Canada, I couldn't get it shipped directly from micca store to here. So I had it shipped to a U.S. buddy, who shipped it off to me yesterday. So I won't see it until next week sometime (probably end of the week).

But, I can tell you that your trance will sound absolutely awesome on it
