On another note, went on a walk today. Made a quick stop at a home utility shop to see if they had O-rings (may want to try the HM5 mod). Didn't remember the exact size of the ring I needed, and the rings were 50SEK/pc (~7.5$/pc)(!!) if you bought them piece by piece. So ended up getting this

407 pieces, 139SEK (~20$)

I didn't notice any improvement in soundstage with the dampening. Awaiting my HM5's as I suspect this will be the only mod (other that a slight difference with the q-tips) that will help soundstage. fwiw
post #4566 of 63711/20/13 at 9:56amQuote:No problem. I just did a comparison between the back and front USB ports of my pc and AC powered and non-powered USB hubs and there was no difference. I used s500 and the ELE. The ELE sounds exactly the same plugged in the AC powered hub as it sounds plugged in my Belkin usb hub with all the other ports taken by power hungry peripherals. So there you go, if a non-powered USB hub can power my backlit sidewinder x6 keyboard together with a bunch of other stuff then it will have zero issues powering a small DAC without affecting its performance.

Kinda a random question, but how do you use/ do spoilers on head-fi. Could not find how to use this function since my @ss is a noob. A little help please?
Tried to do it with a pic like so:
inserted a image URL from the web
and all i got was just the text without the click button:
pic
LoL Fail!
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)edited

Quote:You can add pictures, as I've seen others do it. However, I haven't had the need to use the feature, yet. If I'm going to post something, I don't see a need to conceal part of my post behind the "spoiler."

It comes in handy and makes it more interactive/ fun sometimes. I tried dragging pics into that spoiler "text" box as well as used the jpg web links but the picture didn't show, only got the text hyper link. Good to know that you can do that, just can not figure out how to do it.......yet.Sorry guys, forgive me for my random Qs.
edit: If anyone know how to put pics into the spoiler function, please give me a PM. Thanks in advance!
