Yes it is somehow disturbing. What makes it worse is those rings actually look like the correct size. Lol. I can imagine you guys looking at that pic again after I wrote that.

LMOA. You are a brave soul to look at it for that long and come out alive with such an in-depth observation of those rings.  I am sure they are as well. haha

 

hmmmm might get those clear rings like that pic for my next pair of S500s with that S400 mod. very_evil_smiley.gif For modding purposes of course cough cough.

LOL Why did you have to say this? Initially I though the pic was funny but after you mentioned what the store people thought my dirty mind pictured completely different picture with rings in a region lower than the portrayed in the pic. I'm warning you - don't google this.

Good for you.  tongue_smile.gif Anyway, I have to admit the s500 is pretty much taking all of my listening time. That has never happened before and is very weird. I was going to write a review on the Vsonic VC02 but frankly I can't even take myself away from the s500 for 5 minutes. The s500 is affecting me so much that I think my preferred sound signature has changed because of it.

Well, I have to admit that I've been drinking a lot lately but I do listen to the s500 when I'm sober too. I'm on a different level of drinking after all those years, so I don't do stupid stuff with my headphones - I just enjoy the music and haven't lost or destroyed any audio stuff. Anyway, I'm just in love with the s500's sound - I just can't believe it only cost 37 bucks and I like it more than most of my inventory. I seriously have to find an iem that sounds exactly like that and I'm set.

You should hear Eric Clapton's Slowhand (Remastered) on them pushed via the Schiit Magni / Modi.  tongue_smile.gif

It's a weird coincidence that you mention it as I have a 24bit/96khz vinyl rip of the the same album. Sounds great even without  the shiit combo

I am considering that Schiit myself actually..Kinda reading some mixed results on them but for the most part seems to be a good buy for the price. I like the way that Schiit stack looks too. So Wje, I take it the HA-S500 sounds good using that Schiit?
