I just picked up a set of the X7i and have to say they are awesome!!  At first I thought they were terrible sounding until I switched the tips to Comply TX-100 tips .  The correct tips make a world of difference.  They have great synergy with my iPod Nano.  Listening to a new album from Santana "Shape Shifter" that I just found on hdtracks.com converted from AIF to MP3.  This album is fantastic and through the X7 it sounds full and rich.  I also have the 5 and the 10 so I'll have to do a comparison but for now these are my goto headphones.

5 pairs in 6 months is pretty bad. Hopefully Klipsch will respond and take care of you.

Yeah.. I have contacted them and their new warranty thing is a depot in Markham Ontario Canada.
So i'll have to ship them over there (Just have to find time and some change laying around i guess)

If only they paid for the shipping  (;p one can only wish)

No problem with daily use since 6 months but im taking extrem care of them. Why are they failing?

I think ijust got extremely unlucky but it is the left ear piece that always fails on me. (I take generally good care of htem too.. never snag the wire, keep them in the case when not in use, not using while exercising.)

probably just bad luck on my end..
im glad to hear its owrking out well for you guys though.
