Really I can replace my X10i's stating that they were being ripped at the strain reliefs?
They perform fairly well tho.

If you bought from an authorized dealer and under two years ago, then you should be able to. Obviously, I cannot 100% guarantee that because I am not a customer service representative.
oh okay, I thought the Strain releifs were meant to split the way they were designed.
Haha, nope.
Ok, Spoke to the customer care they said they cannot replace them on grounds as the X10i's are performing perfectly alright, just a bit bothered that the strain reliefs had split a little bit on the left bud. It does work 100% tho :} just wondering whether it is alright if it splits up a bit....

That doesn't seem very customer friendly to me. It seems there is a defect in the design for long term usage.

They appear to be clearing the older x10 out on Amazon so maybe this would be an alternative.
Hey
Actually yes maybe that's cuz thats the older model so I think anyway it was always on clearing stock. haha. My one's were the X10i's and they perform great, except for one ear bud suffering from the strain relief splitting, maybe they would replace them if they were defective, but they said they wouldn't replace is it on the pair's physical condition.

is there any improvement on reinforcing areas such as the audio jack?
i have the s4i myself i love the sound but i felt the audio jack and the area the cable exits out of the drivers weak and prone to tearing--> haven't had it tear on me but i've been ever so careful with it
is the area with where the cable exits the driver reinforced?
is the cable thicker too? i know its flat and tangleresistant now
Straight jack. That way the cord goes straight out of your pocket when your device is in your pocket (most devices' headphone jacks are on top these days).

Yes, the Image S4i have been redesigned for durability. We have added strength to critical points along the body, microphone, remote and cables. The new tangle-resistant flat cables are also much stronger than the previous round ones, so I wouldn't worry about them.
The X7 looks pretty sweet. Any way I can get my X7 recabled to use these better cables?
I can't suggest anything that would violate the warranty of your headphones, haha!
Anyway I can send them to Klipsch so they can do it? I think the warranty is up maybe?
Unfortunately, I can tell you that there is no way we would do that. Sorry!
