Using headphone on Jolida FX-10 (no phone out)

Greetings.

 

I recently bought the Audio Technica ATH-M50 and Jolida FX-10, which sadly did not have the phone out. So, I'm trying to figure out a way to use headphones on it. I don't know resisters from capacitors, so forgive me for dumping these specs at you:

 

Jolida FX-10:

 

Rated Power Output: 10 WPC @ 8 ohms (17Hz to 37KHz)
Input Impedance: + or <100k Ohms
Input Sensitivity: 670mV for 10 watt output
Output Impedance: 4 ohms and 8 ohms

 

ATH-M50:

 

 

Maximum Input Power: 1,600 mW at 1 kHz
Sensitivity: 99 dB
Impedance: 38 ohms
Connector: 1/8" or 1/4"
 
Now, I've looked around, and it appears that I need an adapter like this: http://img56.exs.cx/img56/8330/grado10828267502io.jpg
 
What is this thing called? I can't seem to find anything like it on Amazon and Monoprice. Maybe I'll have to do it myself. Do I have any other options?

Hifiman makes one for their orthodynamic headphones. However for the price, you might as well get a cheap headphone amp.

 

Your M50 probably won't benefit too much from an amp anyways.

You were right :)

 

I just tried a coworker's tube amp, and I was disappointed. I wanted the option of being able to listen to headphones at night, but I guess first, I'll get the speakers working!
