i got an MArt Dio (art dio modded)

it's got one spdif input, i have two spdif outputs that need to go into this one input. it's not like a pic from a hustler mag, it won't work.

i need a switch box of some sort, really badly!

For some reason, I'm having trouble picturing what you need (must be the Hustler imagery :P). Anyway, two sources going into the D/IO, so you need a box with multiple inputs and a single output, right?

How about something like this?

um, maybe, i'm pretty electronic illiterate

two sources, both with spdif outs > cables > switchbox> art dio's one spdif input>art dio's analog output > amps input.

does that help?

the hustler image was the whole jamming two spdif cables...oh nevermind

did you check my link? would that thingie work?

Don't know for sure, but I bet this wouldn't sound too fantastic. Might want to be sure that everything is 75 Ohm as well.

I missed the Studio 1 link. I just looked at it and think that it might work. The composite video jacks (the yellow ones) should be able to handle S/PDIF I/O assuming that you use 75 Ohm digital coax (S/PDIF) cables.

Well, I took a look around the web for more of these A/V switch boxes. There seems to be quite a range, all varying in price. There's a more-expensive version of it here which has a 75 Ohm impedance rating. Looks to work on the same sort of principle. Another box that might work is this one from Radio Shack Canada ($34.99 CDN = $26.20 US). Then there's this one from RP Electronics (at a measly $15.71 US).

Seems like there are lots of choices when it originally looked like there was nothing.
