Enter to Win an Heir Audio an All New 4.Ai - Page 7

I own a pair of Silver cabled IE80s, FX700 and a new Custom Hyrbid IEM. I'm a sucker for large and spacious sound stages and I love a natural and organic sound with great bass. I like headphones/IEMs that are good all-arounders and not just genre specific. The IEMs I use convey music in a way I strive to live my very own life. With enjoyment and happiness.

Well, what I feel my headphones say about me is that I enjoy music. There really isn't much more to it; I really enjoy music and having good headphones allows me to experience that little bit extra in the music.

IEMS and CIEMS show that you are more than just a casual listener.  Casual listeners are people who are happy with their iPods and basic earbuds.  I've long left that area and have moved on to higher and higher end headphones and now CIEMS.  To me, it says that I understand and enjoy my music.  I take the time to research and try out new and exciting gear and have attained an enlightened state when it comes to my music and how I involve myself in it.  I can be questioned in regards to audio gear.  I understand what the basic relationship of how music is retrieved and then delivered to your ears in a very gratifying way.  I smile when complimented on my Heir CIEMS.  I enjoy talking to them about my wonderful experience and the attention that Heir puts into all their products, from Flagship to mid-tier to low end (not that any Heir products are low end).  I then get asked how my CIEMS sound.

I try to explain to them and they all go "wide eyed" and are very impressed.  Then they want to hear... well, they are Custom IEMS... meaning... they won't fit them and they won't hear what I hear.  So, a Universal of the CIEMS I have would go a long way in garnering a larger understanding for individuals and showing them how Awesome the setup is with the right components.  Then, hopefully they will end up buying their own pair.  I know I will be buying myself a Flagship pair as soon as funds allow.  I've tried to build a home setup that gives friends and family a sense of what my Heir CIEMS sound like, but it still pales in comparison (and I actually like my home setup).  Well Heir, Wizard, Nancy and all other Awesome people that I've dealt with at Heir.  Choose me, and I'll get an Heir Audio Vinyl sticker made up (like your logo) and placed on my vehicle as well as allow friends and family and people in basic conversations (as I already do), understand the depth that Heir commits to each and every customer and IEM they build.  Trump up more business for you, I will.

This is my current FAV rig... and I want to share how Awesome it sounds with everyone!

My headphones say that I care about hearing all of the music and having that intimate experience where you are simply lost in the awe of it.

My Headphones (Shure SRH750DJ) say that I am your average Joe with a Wife + Kids + Mortgage  who would dearly love to be able to justify/afford decent set of Headphones and would get my ass kicked if I went out and did so.

Cheers.

What do my black Audio Technica ATH-ES7s say about me?

That I have taste.

I don't follow the crowd

That sound quality and looks are important.

They give me the chance to escape into another world whenever I want.

My headphone no matter the model [current or at any point in the decade I've been coming to this site] always says, "I care about quality" -

The 4.Ai would be no different.

My headphones announce to the world that I am mediocre.  It's time for a change.  Please make it happen.

Cheers.

Like everyone on the forum, sound is the most important to me. I use my customs the most because it gives me great isolation so that even during my loud subway commutes I can enjoy my music with the utmost quality without my surroundings interfering with what I am listening to. My customs allow me to enjoy my music in peace so that I can start off my day relaxed, my CIEMs say that I am a person who likes to enjoy my music in peace and with quality.

My headphones speak of my compassion - for my neighbours...

I really need to move house.

What my headphones say about me is that I'm an audio enthusiast who carefully picks gear that suits my favorite music perfectly, but also that I'm still just starting in the hobby.

What they don't say is how much I want to get rid of my Monster Golds and get some new IEMs that will actually stay in my ear.  Just throwing that out there...

I'm a new member to Head-Fi, but for my headphone choices, they're all reflective of why this community exists, to find the best, not perfect for everyone's needs. Though i have only a small budget to spend on headphones being a recent high school graduate with no income at all, i make the most of my money and try to attain my "audio nirvana" if you will. My Beyerdynamic DT880s are not marvels of audio engineering, nor are my Grado SR225i's but offer unique and pleasurable sound signatures which are only pleasurable because they are not perfect. The concept of a perfect pair of headphones seems boring, and almost pointless to me as there would be no feeling in the sound that they offer. Reflective of my own individuality, i like varietal sound signatures with personality which will never offer perfect sound, but are the best suited for ones' personal needs. Contrary to Lexus' beliefs, perfection is but an illusion, but it is perfectly right to strive for the best.
