My headphones say that I love music, and, as a scientist, my approach to listen it is about the same as the one I take in my life: Seek the truth, sometimes in an unfriendly enviroment.
My current headphones are the AKG K550, Etymotic HF5, Phonak Audéo PFE 112 and Westone 4R, and have previously owned Sennheiser's HD202, CX500 and Audio-Technica A700. They show that I like to see things as they are, as far that can be done, and all that is there to be seen, not only in one gender but in many, as a eclectic person my headphones should be able to perform good with any music.
Also not always I have the luxury to sit at home and enjoy some very good things of life, so is shown in the fact that most of my headphones must have good build quality and at least minimum isolation so I can use them on the go and on the work, where many hours are made much more enjoyable and productive by them! (And can't thank enough Etymotic for the number of times that their noise negation saved my ears ....)
One last thing that my headphones tell about me is that although I crave the best sound possible, I can appreciate an achievement for what it is and for what it have to offer, even though it's not the best by itself.
