Oehlbach cable question...

I'm going to be upgrading my 580 cable to this in about a week or so. But I'm wondering if it will fix the problem I've been experiencing with the right ear, where I'll get no sound and have to plug/unplug and wiggle the connector for about 10 minutes to get it back. Anybody?

I really couldn't answer your question with certainty as I haven't had this problem, however my guess is that it will not go away. Wiggling the connector means something is loose in the headphone's female connector jack. The cable is probably not to blame. I hope you can get it fixed though.

The Oehlbach cable beats the stock cable hands down!

try plugging the cable from the channel that works into the side that doesn't. if you still get the connection problem, then its probably the connector on your headphones rather than the cable.
