Cable folded over itself a bad idea?

I have the Oehlbach sennheiser replacement cable for my HD650's. Its 10 feet long, and I only need 5 feet, so about 4-5 feet of it are folded over itself in many 6-7inch segments, which are then tied tightly together with 2 cable-ties. Is this a bad idea? Will there be any intereference?

Is this a bad way to make the cable shorter?

I've read that any extra cable is supposed to be set back and forth (kind of like a snake) and that way it doesn't touch. I think if you had to, wrapping them in a circle would be better than folding it to avoid any kinks.

any corners in a cable will increase inductance...... try to keep it as straight as possible.

straight as possible? It comes out of my amp, loops in a small circle 4 times (4-5 inches in diameter, held tight with cable ties), after the loop it ispretty much straight.

i need to get a sennheiser replacement cable that is sized correctly
