Same housing, but different colour I guess. M2C has a shade of grey, TM7 looks more like TM5 in the sense that it is entirely black...

Or it could be just the lighting. lol

Yes, M2c is grayish while TM7 is black. Otherwise the two look almost the same. Oh, the cable feels slightly better on TM7 as well.

I have both the prototype and the final version of TM7 actually, and already put enough burn-in on both. Will review it soon, hopefully a day or two after launch, right around this weekend.

The price isn't bad actually. Not as cheap as M2c of course, but well worth the SQ.

I would love to hear some more feedback on these new earphones. I currently have the Blox M2C's after going through cables issues on more than a handfull of Yuin PK3's. How do these TM7's compare to the M2C's andPK1's?

As well how are the cables on these TM7's? This is probably my number 1 concern as it has really sucked in the past to spend money on earphones that died after about 6 months =(

Have you used the small tube for your Yuin buds when not using them? I've got bigger earbud cases that keep my earbuds safe when I'm not using them. Since I started using earbud cases I have not had one single pair break. My wife's PK3 did break despite her using an earbud case that I forced on her, but the pair of PK2 that she got after that has been going for well over 1 year now...

Yes I used to use the earbud case that came with my Yuins all the time but one side would always lose signal without fail after 6 months. I was forced to switch over to a cheap pair of JVC Marshmellow earphones that I used everyday for about 1.5 years. Those earphones still work today even though I abused them heavily at the gym and even washed them accidently once.

With the JVC's I never put them in a case or treated them delicately so with my current M2C's I've decidely not to baby them and hope them last longer that way. I'm actually thinking that the Yuin case may be too small so rolling them up and putting them into that small tube all the time may have been contributing to their early death instead of prolongly the life.

That's true, the included case is a bit too small. I have used it with my PK3 but never with my PK2. I have bought cheap earbud cases on Ebay instead. Like the ones I mention in this post: http://www.head-fi.org/t/585923/which-earbuds-for-my-gf-50-100#post_7983755

Apparently some batches of the PK3 are more sensitive. It might have something to do with the plug. I remember reading about it in a thread here...

Cool thanks for the reply Danneq, I will look into those cases, especially if I buy a more expensive earphone.

So does anyone have any replies in regards to the sound quality of the TM7's? Need to read some reviews before I pull the trigger. Thanks!
