Any cans with Xtra bass with similar detail and price to Senn HD600?

I love my HD600 to bits as it is so detailed ... but I am after another set with skull crunching bass (both in quality and quantity) but having as much other detail as possible, around the $300-400 mark ... the fact that I am EQ-ing all my music to increase bass from 16-125kHz suggests I need another can?

I find that my lightweight travel MEElectronics A151 have tonnes more bass but at the expense of detail and soundstage but I like a good head shake once in a while ....

Any ideas on where to start?

THis is what I have

- FLAC to Fiio E17

- All things pop from Bon Jovi to Evanescence to Christina Perri to Coldplay

This is what i know

- HD650 has 'more' bass but perhaps not much more

- denon D2000 has incredible lowdown bass

The kind of sound i like

- detailed

- do not like sharp highs/fatiguing phones

- love the sound signature of the HD600

... cheers

Not that they're within the same class as the HD600's, but if you want as much bass as possible, the Sony MDR-XB700's have the most I've ever heard in a headphone. Their soundstage isn't half bad, either. They do spike the highs up a bit, and drop the mids out a little as well, but I don't think any bassheads would be dissatisfied with the amount of bass they have.

Ultrasones also have oodles of bass, and the Pro 900's in particular have a huge following. I haven't heard that model, but I have heard the Pro 750's, which impressed me with their bass quantity and quality. I'd imagine the Pro 900's are probably even better.

Ultrasone PRO2900, Audio-Technica ATH-ESW9 (with mods if it isn't heavy enough), Bose QC15, Kenwood KH-K1000; in order of most insane to most reasonable and similar.

None of that is relevant or even matters - those terms have no meaning at all.

So interesting. A thread almost a year old getting bumped with kinda sorta the same question. There is absolutely feedback that can be given for this. Ask in the recommendations thread and you'll be sure to get a lot of answers.
