Stuck...v-moda M80's or Pioneer HDJ 1500's?

So, here's my deal, I'm in the market for new cans. First, I came across the ATH M50's, got em, and gave them a run. I was very impressed, except I thought they lacked a bit of sub bass for my taste and were also difficult to wear comfortably for long periods of time even after stretching the band a bit over a night. So, I returned them and went and picked up a pair of v-moda crossfade LP2's, which I currently have now. Long story short, I'm not impressed really. Almost TOO much bass now and a bit muddy for my taste. Also a tad uncomfortable.

After a bit of research on here, apparently a lot of people feel the same way. Trouble is, I really do like the build on them, and the M80's seem to get much more positive feedback around the forums, so I'm very interested in them. Now, the Pioneer HDJ 1500's are pretty new and it's impossible to find anything of real value on how they are, so that's where you guys come in. Both are headphones that I can get locally and those are pretty much my only choices as I would rather not buy online since I cannot return cans as easily if I don't like them.

Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated! Sorry for the long first post. Thanks!

Okay, so no replies on this issue but that's okay as I went out and exchanged my LP2's for the M80's regardless. For anyone else out there who may come across this having similar questions with mine, I can say this: The M80's blow the LP2's away IN EVERY WAY. Holy mother, I always thought I was a hardcore bass-head, which is why I went for the LP2's, but after giving em about 15 hours I seriously doubted that. After listening to the M80's I am forever a changed man. They literally brought a smile to my face when I listened to them. These things are insane, incredible audio quality and much more comfortable than I thought they'd be. Still a little curious about the HDJ 1500's unfortunately, but these little monsters are so good I may just not care.

Also just FYI I listen primarily to alternative, grunge, metal, all rock pretty much, and lots of dubstep, drum n' bass, and house.

It's great to hear you like them!  You could have waited for the M-100s if you wanted to wait a few weeks (or maybe longer if you wanted them locally), but the M-80s are excellent regardless.

The M-80s really are among the top few on-ear headphones, especially for the price.  It's really hard to find good on-ears...

I don't think the m-80's are very good for sub-bass though, which was one requirement for the OP.
