W5000, PRO700MK2, ESW9 with AT-HPP5 Case, Schiit Asgard, Schiit Bifrost, Audio Technica AT-HPS500 Stand
Will Ship To: USA
Unfortunately, cutting corners means most if not all of my audiophile equipment. I'm up to sell everything, although I'm hoping to keep my ESW9, so that's the one I'm going to be the most stubborn about letting go. I'll start this list off big and work my way down.
SOLD:ATH-W5000: I purchased this with all my graduation money after completing my undergraduate degree. It's been taken very good care of, and almost always out on it's audiotechnica branded headphone stand. It is well burned in. This is a great headphone for classical, acoustic, and other light music such as indie. It paired well with my Asgard and Bifrost. The only thing physically worth noting is that one side is polished and one isn't because one cup was replaced recently, for free by the manufacturer, because the finish was a bit peeling. They noted that it may happen with the other cup due to the shipment and that if it ever did they'd replace it free of charge as well. I can polish the unpolished cup if you'd like, but I was hoping it would dull down like the stock one would. I can also include crocheted rings that I would sometimes put under the ear pads, my version of the phat pad mod. I'm hoping to sell this for 575 USD, which includes the traveling case and all the paperwork. The headphone stand, the AT-HPS500 retails for 90 dollars, but I'd bundle it with these headphones for 40 dollars. I'd sell the stand solo for a negotiable price.
Retracted:Schiit Bifrost DAC with USB Upgrade: This was too a preorder Bifrost, still under warranty. Has a moderate amount of use to it, but is physically near mint. Again, like everything else, original box, paper work, and reciept.. I'm looking to sell this for 415 dollars. Will bundle with the Asgard for a negotiated discount.
Retracted:Schiit Asgard: This was purchased from another Head-Fi'er in October of 2011, and was nearly new when I received it. He noted that it did have the relay that makes the pop when it turns off less harsh in it, and was sent back to have it done. I've put some time on it as well, about as much that is on the Bifrost whereas they made an excellent pairing for my low impedance audio technica headphones. This was particularly well with the W5000. This is also in great condition. These things are built like tanks. Selling it for 200, will bundle with the Bifrost for a negotiated discount. This is the only thing where I do not own the receipt, but I do have the orignal box and paperwork.
ATH-ESW9 with AT-HPP5 Hard Case: These look somewhat shiny because I applied a non-sticky type film over the wood right when I opened these. I've babied them in their imported audio technica brand hard case ever since. If you were to take off that film it would be brand new under there. I'm not super willing to sell these because they're my best all round general use headphones and sound great without an amp. These are in real good shape and I wouldn't let them go for less than 200 dollars to someone who is really serious about them. Again, like everything else, original box, paper work, and reciept.
ATH-PRO700MK2: These are the best bass head cans you can get without going broke. I love these things, I was so impressed with them. Serious impact. I got this in January of this year and have used them occasionally when I feel like shaking some nails loose up in my head. Great shape, original box and softcase, and paperwork. 130 dollars and they're yours. WIll bundle with the E11 for a significant discount.
SOLD: Last but not least, a FiiO E11 which drove the crap out of the MK2's and boosted their obscene bass into levels that I would only consider arousing. It has some small dents but works just fine. Again, original everything including the tin and paperwork. 30 dollars, or best offer. WIll bundle with the MK2's for a significant discount.
That's everything I own except for a HD202's that will serve as my everything headphone if these all sell. I'll replace these in the future but for now, let the PM's begin. Thanks everyone for helping fund my special day! Send me a message or email (corey.butler[at]gmail.com) with any questions or request for more detailed photos. My ebay feedback is here. Again, United States only.
