well...i would have responded art.

but in my experience i had the best combination with pure luck.

science is applicable about the electrical parameters.

but the ears, the mind and a good musical culture is another question.

There is luck involved which maybe makes it un-scientific?

You want it to be a science, it's a science. Want it to be art? Why not? Rich man's folly? Toss of the dice? Whatever blows your hair back.

You may be right! So any of these are a path?

It's an interesting question, if we recognize that there isn't one single way to measure success then we start having to pay attention to the different values people hold and use in guiding their journey.

It's definitely personal, the journey could be a success at every point along the way. Seeing it as luck, money, science or an art may help look at the pathway from another angle? There is also not a clear line to where the end is, many don't want an end anyway.

I think it's art mostly. I mean, the science does play a big part in this, I think. But when it comes down to getting what you want, well, it's just that. What you want. It's all about crafting something to your liking. And it's subjective. Because one person may think one way of something, and another person might think totally different . It's what makes the world go, really. To each his own, and the ability to make something from nothing to create something that you can enjoy, is sort of like an art.
