I agree, I'm sure that is pretty good. Made by Grado, after all.
But is there anything better? That's what I'd like to ask opinions about.
I'm considering upgrading my cables to something more expensive than stock, for my wooden headphones; the various improved cables floating around often have 1/4 inch plugs (or balanced plugs, which I cannot use, having no balanced amp), and I need a matching adapter to get it down to 1/8.
Is there any adapter better than that for <$100. Does using an adapter negate some of the advantages of using a better cable in terms of neutrality, or does it merely add resistance?
What do people here actually prefer to use as their adapter, if they need one, for modded cables?
