JDS Labs seems the best way to get an O2 Amp! Using an adapter shouldn't be so bad right. I didn't find any O2 at the used section of the forum for less than 150 bucks. I'm not buying one today anyway, my HD558 is still lost somewhere between USA and Brazil, and my wallet isn't; ready for another purchase just yet!

I will disagree again. I prefer the amp section of the NFB 12.1 for most EDM, jazz and really soulfull genres. The O2 provides a clean sound with objective statistics to back it up for the price. It works well wth the Q701's with classical genres but lacks the musicality and "pump" of other amps in the range.
My bad, didn't read careful that's for Jazz etc.
My use will definitely be for Rock, Alternative Rock. I don't listen to Electronic, HipHop, DubStep, Classical Music, etc. Rock 100% for me heheheheh

The O2 works well with alt rock and rock in my opinion. Sometimes it changes from amp to amp and synergization with headphones, but overal the O2 is good with rock and alt rock if you are looking more for accuracy in my opinion.
Any general bands? Because if you say Slipknot or whatever then I may just suggest you the Hifiman HM101.. I heard it does a good job of masking the terrible and making the harshest badly produced sounds sound.....mellow.
*I'm kidding on the second part though but seriously, sample bands and artists please! :)
For Rock I listen to Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray. For more modern stuff I love Grunge, so Nirvana, Alice in Chains, SoundGarden, Pearl Jam. Also Love Red Hot Chilli Peppers. These are the Top in my list, there are others, but I would like my equipment to be tuned for them! Let me know ;-)

The O2 seems to be for you then :) It does show faults in Red hot chili peppers and nirvana more than others though so you can call it a bit analytical in some sense as it makes the harshness of smells like teen spirit even more aparent and RHCP's Californication....clipped album ......
I guess we can't have the perfect unit for all bands and mastering, right? I want it to sound as recorded, if it's too harsh, I believe that's what the band would like it to sound, so no problem there! Nirvana shouldn't sound smooth ahahahah thanks for the help! I can see this is the right amp for me thanks to you guys, cheap and effective

Smells like teen spirit with a more mellow amp and headphone is fine.
Now...time to find the O2 of your choosing! Ride like the wind!

RHCP is the worst in terms of audio quality. Even their recent albums. Through my PC.
With the O2, its like a stress test for your ears, more like torture for your ears.
I doubt anyone can listen to it in one go.

I wonder what these music producers were smoking when they produced this crap.
They're supposed to have the best equipment around.

For example. I'm a fan of distrubed and I see their awesome stations online...but it's laughable
Is it really that bad? I never noticed, probably because of my crap speakers so far. Is it just Californication or RHCP in general? I love the sound of Stadium Arcadium, specially the Guitar from John Frusciante, actually I'm a big fan of his solo carrer as well.
