I didnt like Dunu Tridents. Other $50 alternatives?

Hi all.

I did some search and asked here for suggestions on which IEM to buy with $50. I ended up buying Dunu Tridents.

But I didn't like it at all. I mean, it's not bad, its very well built, but not for me.

It sounds very weird, mainly mid-bass, you can hear it on weird drums sound, its just weird.

The other major problem I found is that I can't get it holded in my ears, it keeps popping out, its heavy and needs adjust everytime.

So I'm back here for other suggestions :D

I have an ATH-M50s, and love it. But I need some IEMs for outdoor purposes.

Can you guys recommend me another IEM that sounds like M50s for $50 ?

Thanks.

Hm...  Falling out doesn't seem normal with them.  Make me think you have a bad fit.  Could you try lifting your pinna and twisting them as you put them in your ear.  Kind of like a screwing movement.

If you can define weird, I might be able to better help you choose a different IEM.

I'm with them for 6 months, and belive me, I tried to make this fit my ear without falling or slowly falling thousand of times with every tip with no success.

It's just too heavy, long and all of its weight is located in the outside extremity.

About the sound, I can't explain right, but it has a mid and bass that doesnt "reproduce" the real life sound. Best example are the bass and snare drum that sounds like when you play it holding to not vibrate. "A dry sound"?

Comon guys... I need some help here.

A confortable IEM for $50 that sounds like ATH-M50. Because my Dunu Tridents has zero confort. I had to adjust it in my ear every 30 seconds for six months. It's driving me nuts.

Two Ideas from me...

Sennheiser/Adidas... http://www.sennheiserusa.com/sport-headphones-earbuds-Sennheiser-adidas

or Etymotic MC5... http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/mc5.html

Just my thoughts, Jim

Something from VSonic maybe?  The GR02 Bass Edition or GR06?

I liked these VSonic. GR06 worth the difference between GR02?

I've heard some say they actually like the GR02 (the bass edition, that's the newer and improved one) more than the GR06.  The GR06 from what I understand is more midrange oriented whereas the GR02 is a bit more balanced across the range (more clarity or something).  That said I have heard neither of them so can't really make a true recommendation - you could try searching around the forums for other opinions, or maybe someone else could chime in.

JVC FXD70 maybe, ATH-CKS55. Not sure what to recommend, the M50 is a V shaped signature. You could look at the Panasonic HJE-355 as well along with the JVC FX40.

Liked this ATH-CKS55 too. It's around 50 dollars. Does it worth compared to VSonics ?

Drivers are larger, Frequency is wider, Max input power is way higher, inpedance is lower. Does this stats counts? In which ways?

I would prefer Audio-Technica since I have one M50 and it perfectly fit my taste :P

you won't regret buying them. but keep in mind that they sound best when used for more than 100 hrs.

Do you have one? Are they really confortable?
Because I had some confort problems with China IEMs
