i have tried soo many earphones before my ciem.. All of the tips even the smallest one would fall off...

If you want to shell out another $300 on headphones, then go ahead, but IMHO just buying a set of low profile shooting muffs with ~ 23 db of isolation will be fine if you wear your CIEMs underneath. You retain the same sound quality, don't have obtrusive cans on your head, and don't spend nearly as much money. Just my .02.

I've yet to find a pair of shooting muffs as comfortable as the QC15. FWIW.

Just mentioning that I found the QC3 pretty underwhelming.

If only they'd put that LiIon battery on the QC15 (they could even call it something else) - it would make so much more sense.

tried on the QC15 at my local best buy. yes it took me that long LOL.
But i was amazed at how much it cancelled out. I put on my 1964 T CIEM then QC15 felt much better.. comfort was excellent.
AND I GOT MY PAIR cant wait to use the two together tomorrow morning

The leader of this category has always been the QC15's (-_-)

And they should be. The NC is second to none. But the sound, its ok I guess. I just use them without a source, nc only. I do you mine on occasion, but mostly I use one of my closed cans instead. Have flown with Beyer 770s and t5p, but they really just too big. Currently I fly with my Senn 25s. Next trip will be with HD-26 Pros smily_headphones1.gif Can't wait.

Never liked iems.
