iBasso DX100 - one very careful owner. Genuine reason for sale
Will Ship To: UK and European Union
Hi, thanks for looking.
Up for grabs is my very well cared-for DX100.
My health has been very poor, the past couple of months, leaving me unable to work (those of you who know me may, perhaps, have noticed that I've been unusually quiet on the forums of late). This unforseen rapid decline in health has, unsurprisingly, put enormous strain upon my finances and, to compound this, private medical testing and consultation fees are extremely expensive (the NHS has many limitations, hence my pursuit of private medical testing etc.).
Consequently, I'm being forced to sell off my beloved portable hi-fi gear, in order to make ends meet. I'm hopeful that I'll make some recovery within the next 6 months or so, at which point, if I can return to working, I'll no doubt re-invest in a DX100 when finances permit - I can say, hand-on-heart, that the sound quality of the DX100 has impressed me from day one, and continues to do so. There is a space around, and definition to, acoustic instruments, and a solidity of foundation to all genres of music, that I have never heard before in an all-in-one DAP.
I'll also be selling my UM Miracles soon, for the same reason, so if you're interested in a pair of Miracles, keep your eyes peeled in the coming days.
The DX100 I'm selling is 2nd batch, in excellent condition, currently with firmware version 1.1.0, though of course you could very easily update this to 1.1.7 if you wish, and iBasso continue to develop the firmware at a reasonable pace.
If you have any questions, by all means PM me, but please don't PM me to try to knock the price down; the DX100 is a superb high-end DAP with SQ that is (for an all-in-one unit) almost unmatched in the world at the present time. It is worth its asking price, as hundreds of satisfied users will readily attest.
Please rest assured that this is not a battered, scratched-up unit. I've taken extremely good care of it, and, all told, it's had no more than a 100 hours use, and that really is the truth. For example, in the photos, you can see that I've been using a 6mm-to-3mm headphone adapter in order to avoid any wear and tear on the 3mm socket. I know other head-fiers do the same thing with their DX100s, for the same reason.
Please check my feedback for the HiSound Audio DAP I sold a few weeks ago. I'm a sincere and genuine Head-fier who treats myself and others (and my gear) with honesty and respect.
Shipping costs will vary depending on where you live, but just shoot me a PM and I'll find out the cost for your destination.
